Seven client design projects across the United States, Switzerland and Sri Lanka, designed in Figma alongside the engineering.

Enterprise, R&D and independent work.

Three years and eight months of continuous full-time engineering, alongside a part-time degree and independent freelance work for international clients.

  1. Full-time · Colombo

    Promoted in July 2025 to the agentic AI R&D team, building the Lumos platform ecosystem from zero.

    • Primary author of six internal platforms built from zero — application builder, agent dashboard, RAG, collaboration, design and real-time chat
    • Technical demos of Lumos to LOLC, Dialog, NTB, Scienta, Hayleys and David Pieris
    • Knowledge-transfer sessions on agentic architecture, MCP, RAG and AI-assisted development
    • Azure deployment of the platforms; mentored about three junior engineers
    • Work directly with clients, team leads and VPs

  2. Freelance · Remote

    Working directly with clients in Switzerland, Belgium and Sri Lanka on full-stack, cloud and product work.

    • Lead engineer for the BUILD2GETHER AI–SDG Hackathon platform — about 5,000 students across three live events
    • Bewy AG (Switzerland): most of the React frontend, a responsive redesign of the whole dashboard and a European property-portal integration
    • Actes (Belgium): backend services, government and third-party integrations, Azure infrastructure
    • CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps across client projects

  3. Full-time · Colombo

    Enterprise full-stack engineering on a travel platform used by around 250 brands.

    • Owned the Tour Module end to end during the Java Swing → Angular + Spring Boot modernisation
    • Built timezone-aware product search for the Flight Centre go-live (Q1 2025)
    • Built Tour Manager full-stack; it featured in several client demos
    • Bug fixes and features in Reservation Manager and Supply Manager

A defined process, not just enthusiasm.

AI-assisted, spec-driven and tested by hand — the same discipline whether it's an enterprise module or a solo product.

    Understand

    Gather requirements and plan thoroughly before writing anything.

  2. 02

    Explore

    Weigh several solution options and analyse them before committing.

  3. 03

    Specify

    Write the spec first — spec-driven development keeps everyone honest.

  4. 04

    Contextualise

    Give the coding agent real context from the codebase.

  5. 05

    Plan

    Plan mode, with the agent asking every clarifying question it can.

  6. 06

    Build

    Review the plan, request changes, approve — then implement.

  7. 07

    Test

    Test every change manually myself, then have the agent write tests.

  8. 08

    Evaluate

    Have the agent evaluate its own code before anything ships.

I like building things that sit between software, AI and real people.

I'm a software engineer based in Colombo, Sri Lanka, working across AI systems, full-stack applications and digital products.

I've built production platforms used by engineering teams, enterprise software for a travel platform used by around 250 brands, live systems for international events, client products and independent products.

I also care deeply about the product layer — how systems are designed, communicated and experienced.
